Atl

Ice Drakes are not well known, but neither are they unheard of. This is largely in part since Ice Drakes are masters of subtlety disguise and don't like drawing attention to themselves. As a result, most Ice Drakes will develop the ability to shape shift into other forms to escape attention. The strongest Ice Drakes have telepathic abilities, such as mind reading. They are smooth talkers, organizers, information gatherers, spies and undercover agents.

Personality: Atl puts on so many faces [literally] that it's difficult to point out his natural personality. He is a deceptive liar, both in his ability to change his physical form and in his words. There are only a few drakes that Alt will truly "warm" up to, and to those drakes he is very loyal. Otherwise, he is cold and calculating.

Powers: Atl's powers are those of shape shifting and telepathic abilities. As individuals, Arrel and Loant were never particularly strong among their kind, but following their ordeal with Typhon, their powers combined made them stronger than the norm, making them into a unique royal drake. At times, they have even succeeded in lacing mental/telepathic suggestions into their claims to make the most obvious lie believable. Along with typical Ice drake powers such as cryokenisis and temperature control.

Abilities: His furry wings allow him to fly silently. Atl wears a leather headpiece inscribed with a magical rune that aids in warding magic. While it may seem logical that Atl should have trouble getting around as though blind, he is not at all impeded by his lack of sight. His enhanced telepathy allows him to sense out his surroundings. His feet are talons that serve a similar purpose to those of birds of prey. When attacking, he will often fly above his target, grapple them with his talons then follow through with deadly weapon attacks. Atl's favored weapons are lances and ranged weapons. Atl can also affect the temperature of his surroundings and held objects by cooling them off. There is no known limit to how cold he can make it.

History: When powers among the drakes shifted too much in the favor of ice, Typhon decided to reduce their numbers to restore balance. Rather than selectively eliminating them Typhon took a few different Ice Drakes and combined them into new Ice Drakes. The result was singular bodies with several personae trapped together. Many of those drakes went insane and killed themselves. The resulting deaths put the power clearly in all other drakes’ court, and now the remaining Ice Drakes seek to restore their balance with the others. Atl was one of the few that could cope through the horrific change, in part, because he was created from identical twins called Arrel and Loant. when royal drakes were placed into mass hibernation 4 million years ago, atl was one of the few to survive and now roams the new world, and into a new war

Weaknesses: As a stronger Ice Drake, Atl is prolonged exposure to heat. Open flames often present a challenge.
