The Graenahm

the first installment on the races that appear in my series.

the graenahm are a predatory nocturnal tundra dwelling race adapted to hide among the native trees to hunt for food. using their long sharp claws to grasp prey as it moves below them. they are extremely intelligent and have developed civilization, space travel, and the concept of galactic justice, as a result they are often called "space police" by the other races due to a majority of their race having dedicated their lives to this cause. they need to remain cold, just under 50 degrees farenheit at most, or else they suffer heatstroke.theyve developed suits to aide them in offworld affairs and protect them from any dangers they may face throughout the galaxy. they tend to avoid the less developed races to allow them to evolve but have occasionally visited earth in its past to investigate drake sightings, where they were identified as "frost giants" by humans. in recent years they have become more interactive with humanity, often intervening in the actions of governments and criminals like master of cards and his allies. tough but effective, they work hard to keep the galaxy a safe place to live for all races.

there are some drake portals on their homeworld left over from when drakes once had reach in the whole universe but they are much rarer there. this results in citizens of the race to become stranded in the drake world unintentionally, if they are able to be turned into drakes before they die of heat stroke they usually become guards or citizens of the ice drake region.
