Soul Sever

beware this cursed blade as whoever wields this sword will possess great power, but at an even greater price. soul sever was made out of slivers from Nagaetros' soul shard and is a part of him, whoever grasps its hilt will be instantly corrupted by darkness and forced to do the draconian god's bidding. this sword is indestructible and so sharp just a single knick from its blade will tear a soul from its body. for every soul the sword claims, the stronger it becomes, at the same time the blade feeds on its wielder's own soul. the longer they use it, the less time they have before they ultimately die and the sword possesses their body completely. soul sever possesses a great many powers that it bestows upon its wielders including control of the shadows and near invulnerability. soul sever is extremely addictive to use, forcing its victims to use it as often as they can. the only way to stop a victim of soul sever is to somehow separate the blade from their grasp and keep it away no matter what.

because it is both a weapon, and the token of Nagaetros, the blade comes in many forms, not just a sword. it's all a matter of what its master wants it to be at the time. in the right hands, the wielder of this blade could become unstoppable and because of its properties and the circumstances of which it was made, it is the one weapon that can truly hurt Nagaetros, if ,of course, the wielder somehow gains control of themselves to use it in such a fashion.
